I break the entire
logic circuit into 3 parts and then mentioned the following 3 steps
for ease of understanding:
Step-1: (x+y')
Step-2: (x+y').y
Step-3: ((x+y').y)+(x+y')
As you can see after OR gate, we have NOT then
==> ( ((x+y').y) + (x+y') )'
==> ( (x+y').y+(x+y') )'
==> ((x+y')y+(x+y'))'
