# Production of one mole of stearic acid needs 9 molecules of acetoacetyl CoA and 16 molecules of NADPH. then, 10 moles of stearic acid need 160 molecules of NADPH.

# In HMP pathway one glucose gives 2 moles of NADPH2. Then, 80 moles of glucose must be converted into 80 moles of ribulose-5-phosphate for the production of 160 molecules of NADPH for the synthesis of 10 moles of stearic acid.
