Answer #1

According to the Reid and Shama article [2013], in developing countries, a woman’s income is typically given to her husband, who will make the decisions about how it is used.

Women are still considered to be the assistants or subordinates to their husbands in developing countries and because of this reason, the patriarchal structure allows to men to take complete control of women and her decision making. Typical women in the developing countries are expected to hand over their income to their husbands who would decide how the money would be spent.

    34. Why do children under 6 months of age, in developing countries, rarely suffer from malnutrition? Children do not require as many different nutrients at that young age.
