Question 1:

1) Scatterplot of the given data:

lunch calories 800 700 600 500 400 lunch calories 300 200 100 0 O 20 40 60 80 100 120 140 160

Stroop test score in X- axis and lunch calories in Y- axis.

2)There are three types of association in scatter plots:

Positive: as one variable increases the other variable also increases in value.

Negative: as one variable increases the other variable decreases in value.

Zero: there is no apparent pattern followed between the two variables.

In the above, there is no apparent relationship seen between the Stroop test score and the lunch calories, hence, it is a zero association.

3) As the dots in the plot are widely spread and not concentrated along a straight line, the association between the two variables is weak here.

4) Outliers are points which are farthest from the regression line; here, the point corresponding to person C may be taken as the outlier.

After reading the article, answer the questions that follow. Turning Off, Dining In Last night at dinner, I suddenly realized that no one around our table had said anything for quite a while. I looked at my son, who had headphones on and whose face was aglow with the white-blue light of this phone on which he was watching a YouTube video. My daughter was also bathed in this same glow, but a tap-tap-tap was coming from her phone as...

How is the caregiver’s role different in each model? How is the patient’s role different? Answer: Physical-centered communication involves the specialists taking control of the conversation.
