Answer #1

a)
The realtive frequency for each categpry = (its count or frequency)/(total surveyed people)
Total surveyed people = 356+461+929+410+39 = 2195
Therefore following is the relative frequency table:
Never 0.1621 Rarely 0.2100 Sometimes 0.4232 0.1867 Most of the time Always 0.0177
b)
answer = 0.0177*100 = 1.77% ~ 1.8% ,rounding off
c)
answer = (0.1621+0.2100)*100 = 37.21% ~ 37.2% , rounding off
d)
frequency bar chart looks like below:
1000 - 800 600 Count 400 200 0- Rarely Never Most of the time Sometimes Always Categories
Therefore option A is the correct answer

e)
The relative frequency bar chart is :
0.5- 0.4 0.3 Count 0.2 0.1 0- Rarely Never Most of the time Sometimes Always Categories
Option B chart is the correct answer.

f)
Pie chart is as follows:

N R N S M M A R S
Hence rotating this chart we can see that it matches with the Option C pie chart
hence option C is correct answer

g)
If the surveyed group of people is a sample from population then the claim made is an inferential statement
If the surveyed group of people is the whole population then the claim made is a descriptive statement
As the the term sample isn't used any where hence we can assume the whole population was surveyed so its a descriptive statement.
