Explanations:  Replenishment of ATP, removal of lactic acid, replenishment of myoglobin with oxygen and replenishment of glycogen.

Liver helps in the conversion of Lactic acid back to glucose for oxygen requirement.

Blood transport the lactic acid to liver, Either by oxidised to CO2 and water, or by converting it into glucose, then glycogen (Help to restored the levels of glycogen in liver and muscles).

These processes requires oxygen, to remove lactic acid and replace the body's reserves of oxygen, is called the OXYGEN DEBT.
