Answer #1

In many countries like in India, the trade and the routes are not being actively used because od this covid-19 effects and pendemic. This has affected the trade, resources and financial situations of many countries. According the Indian authorities, the neighbouring country Bhutan has requested for it to facilitate rhe river bed materials and export of boulders to India and Bangladesh. These Bhutanese exporters are thus finding it hard to export these product at this time through the nearest permanent LCS Loksan-Bhimtar because of high restriction and also high transportation costs on the load capacity of the river bridges. It also described India as the closest export and trading partner for the Bhutan. Thus, the idea to facilitate better relationships and trade proper by positively engaging with Bhutan and boosting the trade through network and connectivity. This would also have better effects for India as trade would be increased by the north eastern states too. So, after all these analysis and requests from Bhitan, India few feeks ago opened an additional trade route under Jaigaonf LCS at Ahllay, Pasakha, as a temporary measure or temporary solution for this covid situation happening in the world.

This new route of the land for the movement of the induatrial goods and raw materials destined for the Pasakha Industrial Estate would help in boosting the bilateral commerce and trade and also help in decongestion of the vehicular traffic which is being prevailing along the Jaigaon - Phuentsholing route.
