Answer #1

Mesh Convergence :

  • It determines the number of elements in the model to ensure the results of the analysis are not changing.
  • System response will converge to a repeatable solution.
  • Sufficiently refined Mesh are to be used for better results.
  • The convergence is linear in nature.

Force Convergence :

  • The results obtained are less accurate and proper as compared to the Mesh Convergence.
  • It is being used to do the analysis of the break away moments.
  • The materials used here in the convergence need not be refined or of better quality, manageable materials are accepted here.
  • The convergence is non linear in nature.
