Carers recognition act was established in the year 2010. this act explains the rules and awareness of the carers who are taking care of gediatrics, disabled persons and sick patients. it is important to follow the rules of legislation carefully. the every aspect and situation is impotant when taking care of older people. some older people do not want ventilation or cpr during their last days of life. it is important for a care taker to note it down and act accordingly. some surgeries should not be done for the old age age people. then the care taker should explain the situation and should follow the rules. The care care for ol aged people is critical when compared to the young people because the age is a risk factor for them. the metabolism, elimination rate will be decreased in these people. pain at the site of injection is more in these people and some of them cannot take tablets orally so, prefer syrups in these people. before care taking get the informed consent form from the family and from the particular person if can. the consent form should get signed or thumb impression.
