The older people needs complex health care needs requiring a multidisciplinary and multidimentional approch, the assessment helps the health care workers in the old aged care fecility to gain insight to the old aged needs and plan and provide person centered care for each client.The assessment is the first process of the nursing care it help to plan the action for the nursing care plan,this helps to view the patient holiistically and thus identify the iduvidual client needs.the four types of the nursing assessment are summative,formative,interim and diagnostic assessment.

The code of Ethics for nurses states elements that gives standards of ethical conduct,integrity,compassion and advocating for the access to health care, the nurses maintaining standards of personal conduct that uphold the professions dignity. An international code of tethhics for nurses was first adopted by the international council of nurses in 1953 it has been reviced and new version completed in 2012,according to this the nurses have four responsibilities that are to alleviate suffering,,to promote health,to restore health,to prevent illness,inhernt in nursing is a respect for human rights.
