Answer #1

The nucleus is made of proton and neutron in small volume. That's why nucleus is highly dence. Outer electrons are in orbitals. This place is mostly vacant. So statement 1 is true.

Mass of the atom is summation of mass of proton and neutron. These are in nucleus. So mass is concentrated in nucleus. Statement 2 is true.

As already said statement 3 is true.

Statement 4 is not true. For neutral atom number of proton and neutron mag vary. Simply neutral hydrogen atom has 1 proton but no neutron.

So correct answer is option 4

Which of these statements is true? The number of electrons outside the nucleus is the same as the number of neutrons in the nucleus. The mass number of an atom is the number of protons plus the number of neutrons. The atomic number of an atom is the number of valence electrons outside the nucleus. In an ion, the number of electrons must be equal to the number of protons.
