Evolution of humans have taken place over a thousand years. From the earliest humans, the Neanderthals, to humans today, we have changed to a great extent. There have been major developments with humans ultimately transforming the world, and making it into what it is today. The manner in which humans have been able to modify earth is both astonishing and dangerous.

though, there have been some important points in history that has shaped the mankind into what it is today. These are:

- fire: as humans discovered fire, the major transition period started. Humans lived on earth thousands of years before that, without knowing the existence of it. Once fire got discovered, humans learnt how to eat cooked food. With learning to eat food that was cooked, slowly, there came changes in the shape of our jaws and teeth, which were earlier developed for consuming raw meat. Fire didn't only civilize humans, but also changed the biological makeup.

- domestication of dogs: not only did humans learn to tame fire, they also learned to tame other animals. This not only acted as a form of protection, but, also empathy developed with another being.

- wheel invention: this came purely as a result of human imagination. It made movement from one place to another much easier, with easily carrying substances and objects.
