Question: Saltwater is slightly denser than fresh water. If you swim below the surface in saltwater, will the pressure be greater than in fresh water at the same depth?

Answer: Yes the pressure will be greater because we know that the pressure at depth = hrg

Where h = depth

r = density of fluid

g= acceleration due to gravity

as we know rw<rsw which leads that pressure is directly proportional to the density keeping h and g constant. Thus pressure will be greater in saltwater as compare to the fresh water.

Answer: We know that Pressure = And force = mg which is equal to the weight of the body.

Answer: Density = 1 Kg/L

Mass = density x Volume = 1 kg/L x 2 L = 2 Kg
