Answer #1

I propose that the next major scientific breakthrough will be the identification and explication of the fundamental physical foundations for the link or bridge between what we call consciousness and physical matter.

We know experientially that consciousness exists — in this sense, empirically, because we can clearly identify various phases of consciousness with our cognitive faculties, thus it is an identifiable reality.

At the same time, it it generally regarded as highly doubtful that any machines we design by assembling material components will ever, even theoretically, possess the uniquely organic faculty which we know as consciousness — although they might well pass various forms of the Turing test.

The mechanism by which consciousness as a kind of field (albeit even an acknowledged “metaphysical” or “spiritual” field) interacts with the physical, organic brain will also be clarified and studied.

please help me!!! 5.) You have discovered mutants in two new gene mutants in Drosophila. One mutant, curl, has small, curly, nonfunctional wings. The other mutant, big, has enormous eyes. You decide to test if these two new genes are on chromosome #2, so you perform a three-gene linkage testcross using a gene that you know is on chromosome #2, trp, a mutant that cannot make its own tryptophan (and so must get it from its food).
