Question # 1. The primary target for the ten tree brand is the socially and environmentally aware customers who would like to contribute towards the environment if not directly at least indirectly. These customers would be looking to be associated with the brand with a strong social mission and contributing to society through their actions.

Question # 2. The competitive advantage which ten trees can achieve is through the promotion of their social mission to protect and conserve the environment, as we have seen in many social media campaign company is able to connect well with the target segment of customers who shares the same vision as the company does. This helps in creating a good connection with the customer who would like to associate with such a brand, and this gives them a very strong differentiation and competitive advantage because it is some very difficult to emulate for the competitors.

The brand positioning should be as a brand that cares for the environment and does not work only for profit. Customers who are connecting with the brand are also contributing to the conservation of the environment.
