Answer #1

The job application which has to filled up by the job candidate contains many disclaimers in them which would especially specify that the candidate who is putting all the information is correct on his behalf and also that the employers could use this information for further ethical use by any means. Thus, the job application form should contain such disclaimers which are directly related to the protection of the company by any means and also the protection of the employee/information he is putting into. For example, I authorise any organisation, company or person listed on this application to furnish you and all the information concerning my previous employement, qualification and education for the employement. I also authorise you to request and receive such information.

This is an information disclaimer as it is saying that the employer or the concerned parties are allowed to use the information for the employement purposes. This is the permission given which is one use of disclaimers. Many other disclaimers also restrict or limits the power of the employee as well so that the employee couldn't sue the company after the information has been used. To protect the goodwill and the working of the company, these job applications and disclaimers are used.
