Outline of a policy that should be created on a national level:

It has been observed that in India, employees are exploited at the highest possible level. They are being paid with the less salary as compared to the other global countries and they are asked to work for 12 to 14 hours on an average. Moreover, in the situation of not meeting the targets, they are not being paid with the salaries. Apart from the basic payment issues, there are certain other things that affect the normal standard of living of the employees. Politics at the work place, discrimination, harassment by the employers, etc. are some of the issues that crop up in the organisation in Indian market around the employees.

There are policies that have been scripted by the Indian government, but these policies are least enforceable on the employers by the court of law in India. When employee approaches the court in India against the employers, their cases are not strictly being taken into consideration. And even if they are considered, it takes very long years to get the ruling of the cases.

Indian government should ease the grievance redressal mechanism for the employees and should create the policy that would deal the issues of the employees in the fast track manner.
