The dogs are warm blooded animals , they have a high efficiency cardiovascular system or framework that result in the continuous running . They have teeth for various activities like tearing and holding . Dogs are oviparous animals that is they are dependent on both plant and other animals . The skeleton system of the dogs provide excellent running and jumping .
They have the capacity to run at a speed of more than 60 km per hour for their prey species . They have two pairs of leg.
They reproduce by sexual method and the the gestation period is around 10 months. Dogs have the ability to respond to the external environment from a particular stimulus. The dogs have the capability to maintain the internal body conditions by a process known as homeostasis. They respite through lungs and have kidney for ultrafiltration of blood. They have external ears for hearing and sensation of vibration for any danger and protection.The females have mammary glands for feeding the young ones. They have a four chambered heart and a large cerebral cerebrum for processing of information . The Dogs have a Heterodont dentition that is having more than one type of teeth.
