One of the most important things about history is that it’s written from the perspective of the present winner or the from the eyes of someone who holds power at the present time. This would mean that those who hold the power would only promote their success and civilization while rejecting and discriminating others who were far more civilized, organized and controlled way. When the Europeans were still barbarians there were civilizations across the world, especially in Asia that were more humanistic and spiritual. There were many other great empires across the world other than the European continent that were more prominent, rich and stronger than the European powers at that point in time. Empires in India, China, Iran etc. were more powerful and advanced than the European powers who traded with countries that were discovered later by the Europeans. So, the Eurocentric perspective is not helpful for understanding the world in the first Millennium C.E.
