The Center for Project Management in San Ramon, California, examined 24 IT projects and compiled a list of ten dumb mistakes. The center then presented this list to 50 conference attendees and asked them to grade their organization on each mistake. The average grade was between a C+ and D.

7. Accepting or developing unrealistic or unachievable estimates.

8. Accepting status reports that contain mostly noise and not enough signal.

9. Looking back and not ahead.

10. Not following a robust project process architecture.

Project related to the production of consumer goods that relates with some of the above mentioned problems The company XYZ Ltd deals in the production of consumer goods its a newly startup company and has little experience in the successful management of the business while the company plans to carry out the production process they are lacking with the effective project plan which resulted in the low quality of output produced and also less quantity of product produced as compared to the given input of raw material which result in overall loss and reduced sales of the company product in the market due to its low quality of product even it is found that the product project is lacking designing a functional project organisation here the project of production is lacking in functional organisation as the reduced and low quality product is the result of proper functioning of the project.

Another real life example of the Project facinf some of the issue mentioned above is the Namami Gange Project i.e the project lead by National Green Tribunal (NGT) in order to clean the river Ganga as inspite of the government several measures carried out for the effective working of the project the project was facing some of the challenges while ita execution , problems like actually not able to assess the project complexity which resulted the government in overrun cost of the overall project Even the project is lacking with the coordination of ministries "
