Answer #1

The major components of social structure are statuses, roles, social networks, groups and organizations, social institutions, and society. Specific types of statuses include the ascribed status, achieved status, and master status.

Social influence processes in organizations involve the demonstration of particular behavioral tactics and strategies by individuals to influence behavioral outcomes controlled by others in ways that maximize influencer positive outcomes and minimize negative outcomes.

Employees naturally behave differently at work than they do in social settings, largely due to the structured organizational environment of business. A variety of factors influence organizational behavior, including the company's structure, policies and procedures, management effectiveness and interactions between colleagues. All of these elements can inspire employees to work harder or contribute to disengagement.
