I am writing you this note Irene to ask you to do me a favor. When you get home from work tonight would you take the ham out of the freezer? I plan to get started on the beans the Cole slaw and the potato salad as soon as I walk in the door after work. I will be so busy however that I might forget to thaw out the ham. It’s the first time I’ve cooked all the food for the picnic by myself and I want everything to be perfect. The big enamel roasting pan which is in the back of the cupboard under the sink will be the best place to keep the ham as it thaws.
