Solution-the power supply by the battery increases

After closing the switch,the overall resistance decreases ( due to parallel connection) therefore the current supply by the battery increases or the power supply by the battery increases (P=VI,I=V/R)

We know the brightness of the bulb depends upon the power output across the bulb

After closing the switch current through L increases(l=V/Req), so the brightness of the bulb L increases (P=I^2R)

And due to parallel connection,the potential across N decreases so the power output across the bulb N decreases(P=V^2/R) or the brightness of the bulb N decreases
