A typhoon devastates the small population on Island A and only a few individuals survive, then these few individuals reproduced and increased the size of the population in the island, this is an example of a population of a bottleneck, the typhoon had decreased the number of individuals and decreased the number normal alleles randomly, so the few individuals left after the typhoon had the alleles for diseases, so Several generations later, the Island A population suffers from inherited disorders that are very rare on the mainland in other groups.
