Well that's not the case, it's actually opposite. Smart people do things which sounds stupid to stupid people. Where in the thing which they do is actually intellectual, but it will sound stupid to those who have a low IQ or those who lack smartness.
Like steave jobs once said " the thing about smart people is, they sound crazy to dumb people".
