In the given circuit, R4 and R3 are in series and the series combination of R4 and R3 , resistor R1 , and   resistor R2 are in parallel. Thus, the equivalent resistance Req of the circuit is given by :

\frac{1}{R_{eq}} = \frac{1}{R_1} +\frac{1}{R_2} +\frac{1}{(R_3 + R_4)} =[\frac{1}{4} +\frac{1}{3} +\frac{1}{(3 + 3)}] =\frac {3} {4 } \mho \newline \Rightarrow R_{eq} = \frac{4}{3} \ \Omega = 1.333 \ \Omega
