AMPK stands for AMP-activated protein kinase. It is an enzyme involved in the maintenance of cellular homeostasis. It activates the uptake process of glucose and fatty acids when the energy of the cell is low. The ratio of [AMP]/[ATP] is an indicator of the energy state of the cell. A high ratio means that the cellular energy is low. Thus, AMPK is controlled by this ratio.
The ratio of [AMP]/[ATP] is purely indicative of the energy levels of the cell which is determined by the relative levels of AMP and ATP. It says nothing about the levels of carbohydrates, proteins or O2 . Thus, all other options are wrong.
