1.The pathogen  Staphylococcus aureus causes a range of illnesses from minor skin infections such as Cellulitis,Folliculitis and life threatening diseases such as Pneumonia,Bacteremia etc.

(A)​​​​​​ Cellulitis:

The portal of entry= crack or break skin allows bacteria to entry.

The symptoms= fever,pain,skin dimpling,blisters,warmth.

The Treatment= Amoxicillin ,Cephalexin antibiotics are used.

The anatomical site of infection= skin on the lower leg ,face,arms and other areas.

(B) Folliculitis:

The portal of entry= it enter anywhere on the skin except palm of the hands and sole of the feet.

The symptoms= pus filled blisters that break open and crust over,a large swollen bump, clusters of small red bumps, burning skin,tender skin.

The Treatment=Cephalexin,Dicloxacillin,Minocycline,Levofloxacin.

The anatomical site of infection= beard area ,arms,back,buttocks,and legs.

(C) Pneumonia:

The portal of entry= someone sneezing or coughing through droplets .

The symptoms= cough,cough with yellow or bloody mucus,fever,shortness of breath,loss of appetite,chest pain.

Treatment= Tetracycline,Macrolide drugs , Levofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin.

The anatomical site of infection= lungs, mainly respiratory system like airsacs called alveoli.

(D) Bacteremia:

The portal of entry= owned on mucus membrane,the skin,the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracks etc.

The symptoms= fast hurt rate,skin rashes,fast breathing, vomiting,fever and chills.

Treatment= Ceftriaxone,Piperacillin tazobactam, Ampicillin.

The anatomical site of infection= kidneys,brain and lungs .
