Answer #1

Q1) TRUE

Q2) TRUE

Q3) The total emf in the coil is equal to the sum of the emf genarate in each turn , just like series combination of cells

Total emf induced = 100× 0.0001 volt = 0.01 volt

Q4) The emf induced in the circuit is due to the change in magnetic flux ,

[ Magnetic flux due to the circuit = Magnetic intensity * Area of the loop  ]

As the bar sliding upon the rails , hence the area of the closed loop changes , hence magnetic flux changes and as Faraday's law emf induces.

Therefore the 2nd option is the correct one , the electric field E guiding the current is non coulombic.

Q5) False

Q6) As the rate of change of current is large in the solenoid 2 , hence the magnetic flux changes which linked with the coil is grater , hence the grater emf indu6 in this system

solenoid 2

Q7) Faraday's type , non coulomb emf induced in the coil .

Q8) As above discuss in Q3 , the 1st option is the right one, i.e., the flux changes due to the change (increase or decrease) in area closed by the two rails , bar and the resistor.

Q9) Here , asking about the electric field due to the stationary charges , hence the \sum closed path E.dl = 0 .

There are a lot of numbers in this problem. Just about the only way to get it right is to work out each step symbolically first, and then plug numbers into the final symbolic result. Two coils of wire are aligned with their axes along the z-axis, as shown in the diagram. Coil 1 is connected to a power supply and conventional current flows clockwise through coil 1, as seen from the location of coil 2. Coil 2 is connected...
