Incase of A, when magnet is made to move towards or away from the coil, magnetic flux linked with the coil changes. This change in flux induces an emf in the coil.

Incase of B, by switching on and off the switch continuously, flux linked with the coil changes which inturn induces an emf with in the coil. This process is called self induction.

Here by the method of mutual induction, emf is induced in the coil. If current in the primary coil is changed due to on and off action of switch, magnetic flux linked with secondary coil changes which inturn induces an emf in th secondary coil.
