The capitalism or market economy can able to adjust the changing economic scenario.Capitalism uses the most power tool of price mechanism to solve economic problems. It is a way of self correcting mechanism whereby markets forces interact each other to propel the economy.Market forces are considered as a powerful way of allocating scarce resources. The classical and monetarist believed in laissez faire policy of least government intervention. Even J.M Keynes who provided greater role of government in solving economic problems, favoured capitalism as a well established economic system.

In a command economy the government assumes full control of economy. The economic challenges are solved using centralised planning process.Socialist Commonwealth always stood for state capitalism and complete authority of government over the citizens.
