Answer #1

The Rorschach Inkblot test is a projective technique of assessment used to assess the personality and emotional functioning of a person

The test contains 10 inkblots including black and white, coloured and different types of inkblots.

The examiner shows these cards containing inkblots one by one and asks the subject what they see in the cards and records their responses. The inkblots are such designs that are very ambiguous in nature and it is on the subject what they see in it and what it looks like and there are endless possibilities of what the subject sees in them.

The examiner is a trained professional and they interpret and score the responses and a profile is made of the subject. The responses also help in determining if the person has a personality disorder or not. It is a projective technique and it really helps in understanding a person deeply.
