In addition to providing reasons for your thesis in an argument, you want to include a counterargument and rebuttal section. In this discussion, you'll submit a counterargument and rebuttal. This should appear as one paragraph and follow the block pattern (please review the materials provided in this module).

a. Counter argument is the opposition to an argument in a logical way. As for example, one person thinks that feminist movement is unethical. But others oppose this view. This opposite view is counter argument.

b. Rebuttal means an effort to defend one's argument against the opposite argument. It is a reply to the counter argument.

Mr. X says that religion makes us prejudiced. Mr. Y opposes this. Then Mr. X presents some examples of religious conflicts due to prejudices and conservative attitudes. The explanation of Mr. X in the second time is the example of rebuttal.

c. The author should provide sufficient examples and logical presentation to make the argument more effective. Here both the arguments bears solid proofs and instances.
