Answer #1
  • ANSWER-Something unique about being a psychologist is based treatment decisions on clinical intuition
  • A psychologist basis her/his decision on scientific evidences, theories, clinical experiences and even personal experiences but sometimes they use clinical intuition as well.
  • Clinical intuitions are used by many health care professionals based on the available information to provide a diagnosis for the patient. Its an instinct, which is involuntary and comes as a reflex to the psychologist, due to years of experience.
  • Its an inner voice in the psychologist's subconscious which guides them about what is happening with the patient, and treatment migt work for him or her.Its like a psychologist is sometimes able to see through the patient very clearly.
