Ans) • Positive symptoms include hallucinations (sensations that aren't real), delusions (beliefs that can't be real), and repetitive movements that are hard to control.

Negative symptoms of schizophrenia include blunting of affect, poverty of speech and thought, apathy, anhedonia, reduced social drive, loss of motivation, lack of social interest, and inattention to social or cognitive input.

• Cognitive issues/disorganized thinking:
People with the cognitive symptoms of schizophrenia often struggle to remember things, organize their thoughts or complete tasks. Commonly, people with schizophrenia have anosognosia or “lack of insight.”

- The medications doctors prescribe most often for schizophrenia are called antipsychotics. They ease symptoms such as delusions and hallucinations. These drugs work on chemicals in the brain such as dopamine and serotonin. He can take antipsychotics as a liquid, a pill, or as an injection

• In case of schizophrenia, likely to tell about:

1) Hallucinations. People with schizophrenia might hear, see, smell, or feel things no one else does.
2) Delusions. These are beliefs that seem strange to most people and are easy to prove wrong.
3) Confused thoughts and disorganized speech.
