Answer #1

1.

Cosidering my own values regarding health and nursing enviornment include various believes. According to my opinion health is complete sense of wellbeing, the state in which a person remains physically as well as mentally well, nursing care is the service that is public oriented and has to be as per client's requirements. The client is the human being first that has certain ehalth related requirements and not a subject to be treated. I believe that client in health and nursing are the human beings and has to be treated with equality, empathy and respect.

2.

The models that get in association with my nursing values and belief are-

Patient centered care model, as i believe that nursing services and practice should be in line with the client's requirements and oriented to the client's values and belief, this model enables us to address the care as per client's needs.

Primary nursing care- this is the another model that alligns with my values, as this model states that one nurse should be the primary contact for the individual to acheive all the nursing related care and services, i feel that this practice enables the client to have better rapport with one personel and create a better understanding and openess in therapeutic relationship.

3.

On comparing these two models there are some similarities and differences in the functioning of these two models identified as-

In primary care model one registered nurse assumes 24 hours responsibility of the client, whereas in the patient centered care more than one professional is included.

Primary care model is mostly practices in hospice, home care and long term facility, similarly patient centred care is mostly practiced at hospice, palliative long term care, and also in acute and emergency care.

Primary care model is holistic care model that has better rapport building abilities with the patient, patient centered care model deals with better integration of care and client gets into contact with less workforce.

Primary care model is expensive rather patient centred model is cost effective.
