Recall an experience in your past or present with a person who exhibits one of the following behaviors: manipulation, aggression, lying, or impulsivity. Describe the situation and address each of the following questions: What are your reactions to this person's behavior? How does the behavior make you feel? Did you address this behavior with the person? If so, how? Do you feel your level of tolerance would interfere with your ability to care for a client in the clinical situation who exhibits these behaviors?

Psychiatric patients are commonly found of aggressive behaviour either due to their medical condition or due to any external factors

-The reaction to be exhibited to these type of patients are

• Stay calm and listen
• Maintain an eye contact and always maintain a safe distance
• Show empathy to them
• Provide them adequate time to express their reason for getting aggressed
• Remove any sharp articles,instruments from an aggressive patient

-This behaviour can make one loose cool,fear and at times to avoid those person but being a healthcare professional behaving humanistic and responsible to prevent patient from self harm or injuring others has to be done.

-This can be well addressed by creating a therapeutic relationships and making the patient to come out with the reason for aggression and treat accordingly

-No,when a healthcare professionals are completely trained and knowledgeable about the disease condition ,can handle any type of of patients with odd behaviour. This is because they know when and what can cause a patient to behave aggressive and avoid those things.
