Using the business problem from the reading assignment Predicting Response to Direct-Mail Marketing as an example, discuss a business problem in your organization, or in one with which you are familiar. What would be the project’s primary objective(s)? What are some of the challenges your organization might encounter in executing a project similar to the one presented in the case study? What actions would your organization need to take in order to overcome these challenges?

Currently our organization also following direct – mail marketing campaign, through that direct – mail marketing campaign, they want to send various business information to customers and employees, however, the problem associated with such services is such campaign consume more time to deliver to the point of people. Again, considering specific physical address and send the direct mail to that address also can be difficult task for any business.

The primary objective with such campaign is to improve the number of reach, so, customer and other stakeholders can be aware of the particular business information. Many a times, it happens that they even don’t know about our business services, products, updates, newsletters, etc. hence, to make them more aware we should send the business information in proper way and ensure that that information are reaching to specific stakeholder.

Few are the challenges that we will be facing with the direct – mail marketing campaign, these are as stated below:

• The delivery time would be usually more depending on the specific location
• Cost or expanses could also be high
• The entire process could be hectic and people need to do lot for efforts and we require good physical networking to perform such project.

Following are the actions that should be taken by our organization to take in order to overcome these challenges, these are as stated below:

• We need to build strong networking and keep warehousing facility or point that could collect and coordinate such business information effectively, we could build partnership to fulfill such project requirements.
• We could add digitization with such efforts, for example: location tracking on the map, status update, etc.
• We could also minimize the time, if we improve supply chain coordination and build effective communication with retention of people.
