Answer #1

Answer :

(5) correct option is (d) iii , iv and v.

Tanree major subclassification of lipids contain (1) Fats ( Triglycerides) and oils (2) phospholipids (3) steroids and waxes. So iii , IV and v all belongs to lipids .

Lipids are insoluble in water vector their non polar nature.

Mono - di and polysaccharide all belongs to carbohydrate (also called sugars ) completely different from lipids . Carbohydrate are Soluble in water.

Also , amino acid and proteins doesn't belong to lipids .

All amino acid contain one NH2 and COOH group .

Protein is formed when so many amino acid are combined together by peptide linkage.

(6) correct option is (b) i and iii

Two type of nucleic acids in all living systems are DNA and RNA .

DNA = Deoxyribonucleic acid

RNA = Ribonucleic acid

Both DNA and RNA contain a nitrogenous base , pentose sugar and phosphate group .
