Hello, I just subscribed for studying chemistry.
Thank you for seeing my question.
I saw the answer for this problem, but I could't understand why the electron dots aren't drawn for the two oxygen.
I think the right oxygen has 2 lone pair because of the octec rule. Actually, I'm confused because the partial negative charge of the right oxygen in the resonance hybrid comes from minor contributor that has the oxygen having 3 lone pair. What is correct?
If you can't understand my sentance of question, please tell me.

I just need help with 3b. Thank you! Depurination HN 3. Hydrolysis of the N-glycosyl bond between deoxyribose and a purine base in DNA creates an apurinic (AP) site. An AP site creates a thermodynamic destabilization greater than that of any DNA base pair mismatch. HN 'N -O-P-O-CH2O Guanosine residue (in DNA) HH V a) Draw a G-C base pair. VSEPR Objective : This lab is to study the shape and polarity of molecules using VSEPR theory with emphasis on sigma bonds (Part 1) and pi bonds and resonance (Part 2) Procedures: Nothing to do before the lab. We are making the models together in class. Prelab Questions : PART 1: (PL1) Draw the Lewis dot structure of each compound (as having covalent bonds).
