Wheels of railway trains are made of metal because of less friction between rails and wheels of train. Both the wheel are attached with a rod called axle. Train wheels are made conical in shape to keep moving the train between both the rails.

At the other side in the wheels of highway vehicle rubber tyres are covered with metel rim. Tyres are covered with air pressure inside the tyres, so that tyres can absorb the shocks and compensate the irregularities of the road.
