1 Ans: All blood vessels are consist of a hollow passageway called lumen through which blood flows. Lumen of arteries are smaller when compared to veins that allow arteries to maintain blood pressure through the system. Larger arteries and veins consist of small blood vessels within their walls called as the vasa vasorum which nourishes vessels and remove waste from them.

2 Ans: 4 ways through which renal system maintain homeostasis are mentioned below-

  • Regulate acid-base balance
  • maintain the electrolyte concentration in body
  • Control blood pressure
  • Secrete hormones.

3 Ans: 2 ways are mentioned below-

  • Lymphatic system remove interstitial fluid from tissues in case of leakage.
  • Works as drainage system of body.

4 Ans: Pancreas beta cells secrete insulin that balances high blood glucose level. Pancreas alpgha cells also secrete glucagon to raise blood glucose level when it drops.
