The study has been done to understand the link the employee has with the success of the organization. The achievement of the organizational objectives and its success depends to a great extent on the efficiency of its employees. The human resource has been considered to be the most deciding factor in the working of the organization towards its goals. However making the employees work for this is altogether a different thing.

Employees will work for the mutual organizational goal when they actually think of the organisations success equivalent to their own success. Keeping this in the mind of the employees is a difficult task. This is where the employee motivation comes into scene , where employees themselves are working to their best capacities. Motivation is anything that gets them going on their own without being reprimanded by the owner of the business to their best of the capabilities

Therefore we understand that, in order to be successful, an organization needs to be effective. And to be effective it needs to pull up their human resource through motivation. Next question that comes here is how to get them motivated so they do all the work themselves to their best capacities. The first thing that comes to the mind is the monetary benefits, after all this is what they are being hired for. Thus giving the monetary benefits like incentives, hikes, promotion, bonuses etc motivates them to work more effectively and increase the organisations productiveness. However non monetary methods are also used to increase the productivity of the employees. These are broadly categorized into the following:

1. Recognition   - Apart from the reward factor, there is a human tendency to get the credit for the work accomplishes as this boosts the human ego and keeps them going. Thus giving due recognition to the deserving employee will boost up his level of confidence and will motivate him to do more in the same direction.

2. Empowerment – This also has a major impact on the behavior of the employees. Those employees whose opinion is being considered in decision making, are found to be more productive. This is because it gives them the sense of ownership and responsibity and they thinkof the business as their own. By empowering the employees we can link the success as well as failure of the business with that of the employee. And it is well assumes that if employee will feel responsible enough for his actions, he will be motivated to do his best.

To conclude, we can say that to achieve better growth of the organization, keeping its most important resource (human resource) motivates is essential and to achieve this empowering the employees and recognizing them for their actions done is very important.
