Answer #1

#1. It is density by which we can determine if can is made of aluminum.

As density of metal will remain same always while all other properties (mass , volume and color) can de differ.

Thus option (b) density , is the correct answer.

#2. Density = mass/volume

Density of pear = 42g ÷ 32cm^3 = 1.3125 g.cm^-3 .

Option (c) 1.3125 g.cm^-3 , is the correct answer.

#3. Volume of object = 35.95mL - 29.85mL = 6.1mL

Mass of the object = 46.425g

Density (d) of the object = mass÷volume = 46.425g÷6.1mL = 7.61 g/mL

Last digit of measurement of volume is always incertain and the certain digit is upto last but one , so separation between two calibration lines of graduated cylinder is 0.1mL

Option (d) 0.1mL is the correct answer .

d(density) = 7.61 g/mL
