Pressure at a point in a static fluid=Pa+dgh, where Pa is atmospheric pressure, d is density of the fluid ,g is gravitational acceleration,h is depth of the point from the surface.

Since, for both the given points, depth of the point from the surface is same(=1 m), pressure at both points must be same,as other parameters(Pa,d and g) are also same.

So, the pressure one meter below the surface of water is same at the shallow end and the deep end.
