a. The research topic would be "study on the influence of credit card usage on impulsive buying behaviour of consumers."

The impulsive buying behaviour is considered as one of the major research field among consumer research. In shortest form it can be called it as unplanned purchase. This concept of study includes both psychological and external factors of consumers. The impulsive buying behaviour turns out as a lifestyle of consumers, because of the availability of easy credit using credit cards and this changes the old methods of planning before purchasing.

b. The independent variables are

  • Credit card usage
  • Availability of time
  • Product promotion
  • Store environment
  • Reference group

c. The dependent variable is impulsive buying behaviour.

d. Non probability sampling method is been used by collecting a samples of 200 people from the population covering a particular place of the country using judgemental sampling techniques.

The statistical tools of correlation and regression is used for the analysis in order to understand the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable.
