Answer #1

The developmental reserve capacity is the capacity appeared in the aged people. The common problem of the aged people is the decline of memory and skill. They have to face many types of insults due to the generation gap and they have to face many types of insult. But they adopt themselves with such hostile situation and such mental change is only possible for the plasticity of their mentality. They have to accept the insult and change. Again they are victim of many physical problems and mental diseases. They are also ready to acceptg them as they change themselves in mentality. Such flexibility of change in mind is called plasticity.

The baseline reserve capacity is their ability to suit themselves with the stress. They are victim of the mental and physical problems. They suffer from loneliness, depression and insult. But they are able to cope up with them. Such capacity is called the reserve capacity. Again, with baseline performance, it suggests that in spite of such problems, they perform their daily activities and they try to do the best. There is no lack of earnestness and effort in their performance of doing the activities. Only for plasticity they are able to accept all types of stress and continue their life.
