a) Logical memory = 4 pages

= 22 pages

size of each word = 1024 = 210

Hence, total logical memory size= 22 x 210 = 212

Hence , the logical address will have 12 bits.

b) Physical memory = 16 frames

= 24 frames

size of each word = 1024 = 210

Hence ,total physical size = 24 x 210 = 214

Hence , there will be 14 bits in the physical address
