Hence, total logical memory size= 2² x 2¹⁰ = 2¹²

Hence , the logical address will have 12 bits.

b) Physical memory = 16 frames

= 2⁴ frames

size of each word = 1024 = 2¹⁰

Hence ,total physical size = 2⁴ x 2¹⁰ = 2¹⁴

Hence , there will be 14 bits in the physical address
