(a). The independent variable is the types of games (Ninja, Secret agents, Vigilantes)

(b). The dependent variable is the game preference.

(c). I shall be using a $\chi ^{2}$ test for goodness of fit.

(d). Yes, the test is significant since the calculated value of $\chi ^{2}$ >the critical value of $\chi ^{2}$ at 5% level at 2 df. The p-value of the test is 0.0018<0.05 as well.

(e). The $\chi ^{2}$ test of hoodedness of fit was applied to test whether the game preferences are different across the types of games. The test resulted in a $\chi ^{2}$ =12.6 with a p-value of 0.0018 which is significant. The Null hypothesis of equal preferences is rejected. Hence, we conclude that the the choice of games adolescents play is not equally preferred among three games.

(f). An experiment was conducted to test whether the adolescents prefer one particular game among three games. A $\chi ^{2}$ test of goodness of fit test is applied and the test results shows that the adolescents do have their choice of game among three.
