Answer #1

Ethnicity has had the greatest impact in my own life. The cutural values, backgrounds, beliefs have impacted the way i deal with situations, behave, think. But being a Psychology student, thinking from a perticular frame, taking decisions from one aspect doesnt take place now rather thinking broadly adnbeinng open minded. This characteristic not only because of psychology but also because of way of upbringing.

In todays news stories and social media, Race and Gender is talked about more. Racial discrimination and Gender equality. I see this as one of the important things society should get aware about. Discriminating with respect to race is not at all fair and comparing both genders rather than giving each category of genders from heterosexuals to homosexuals should be stopped.

Interested in social justice? If so, one difficulty you’ll face is exposure. Even in today’s social-media-obsessed and news-heavy climate, it is difficult to get a large percentage of the population to know about a given issue. As an example, in May 2018 Glamour and GQ magazines co-conducted a poll to see what percentage of men had heard of the #meToo movement. Shockingly, 41% of the 1147 men (aged 18 to 55) reported that they had never heard of this! a....

SOCIAL IDENTITY Most of us prefer to be viewed as individuals and not placed in social categories or be typecast by others. We do not appreciate people making assumptions about who we are, particularly based on our appearance. This is part of what is so pernicious about racism: It stems from a social construction of race, a system of categorizing and generalizing about people based on physical characteristics and the alleged deeper meanings.
